Travel Essentials

Before you set off, please review some important information that will make your journey smoother and help you avoid unpleasant surprises.

1. Most Important Informations

  • For the most up-to-date and reliable information, visit the “Polak za granicą” website or consult the embassies and consulates of the countries you are traveling to.

2. Travel Documents

  • Impuls Travel Agency is here to assist, but it is your responsibility to have all necessary travel documents ready (e.g., passport, ID card, visas, electronic registrations, vaccinations – if required).

3. Visas and Electronic Registrations

  • Not having a visa doesn’t mean there are no formalities. Some countries (e.g., USA, Canada, UK, Vietnam) require prior electronic registrations such as ESTA, ETA, etc. Make sure to check this well in advance.

4. Name on Your Ticket

  • Airline tickets are issued in the passenger’s name. In most cases, you cannot change the first or last name after the ticket is issued.
  • Please ensure your name on the ticket exactly matches the name on your travel ID presented at the airport.

5. Identity Documents

  • Valid travel IDs include passports or national ID cards (depending on your destination).

6. At the Airport

  • Arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before departure. Security checks and reaching your gate may take considerable time.
  • Check the gate closing time on your boarding pass and strictly adhere to it – airlines do not wait for late passengers.
  • Gate numbers may change – regularly check the airport information screens.

7. Accommodation

  • If you expect to arrive at the hotel after 8:00 PM, please inform us in advance.

8. Transfers and Contact

  • If you use a transfer service, provide a mobile phone number and keep your phone on immediately after landing.
  • If the driver cannot reach you, the transfer may not be carried out and no refund will be issued.
  • Although transport companies monitor flight delays, they are not obliged to wait longer than:
    • 45 minutes after arrival or meeting time at the airport
    • 15 minutes after the scheduled time in the city or hotel
  • Carefully check your transfer voucher. The meeting point with the driver is not always directly outside the customs area.
  • In cities/hotels – drivers often cannot enter the reception area, so please wait at the location specified in the voucher and watch for your driver’s arrival.

9. Insurance

  • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance covering medical expenses, liability, and personal accident.
  • Remember that standard insurance may not cover all cases, such as chronic illnesses or dental treatments (limited to emergencies).
  • Detailed insurance coverage information is available on our insurer’s website – WIENER. Extended coverage options are available upon request.

10. Local Time

  • All travel documents use the local time of your destination.
